The Pbv1005A – Pressure Balance Valve With Integrated 2-Output Diverter Has A ½” Npt Male Connection With Two Inputs For Hot/Cold Water And Two Output Ports. The Valve Has A Flow Rate Of 5.5 Gpm @ 60 Psi.

Supply Stops - There Are Two Safety Stops At Each Water Inlet To Prevent Water Flow In Case Of Installation And Repairs.

Handle Operation - The Volume And Temperature Of Water Is Controlled By The Lower Handle. Lift The Lower Handle To Control The Volume And As The Handle Is Moved Between Left And Right, The Temperature Changes. Move It Right For Cold And Left For Hot Water. The Diverter Handle On The Top Helps In Directing The Flow From The Two Outputs Of The Valve. When Diverter Handle Points Left, The Water Flows Through The Lower Output. When The Diverter Handle Points Right, The Top Output Is Activated For Water Flow.

Cut Out Dimensions - The Cut Out In Wall Should Be 5.43” X 4.76” Inches Which Is Properly Covered By The Trim Plate. This Will Ensure That The Trim Plate Will Cover The Cut Out Hole In The Wall.

Trims - The Trim Set For Pbv1005A Consists Of A Trim Plate And Handle Knobs For Both Top And Bottom Cartridge. The Trim Plate Has Markings For Hot/Cold. Extension Kits For Both Handles Can Be Ordered Separately In Case The Handles Need To Be Extended For Proper Fit. Any *2100 Or *2101 Series Trim Can Be Used With This Valve. Depending Upon The Shower Model, Trims Can Be Of Different Shape And Size, Varying From Square To Circular Shower Handles.
